Xiaomi Mi 7 Rumours

Image result for mi 7 image
A new leak surfaced on the web today, claiming to shed some light on Xiaomi’s Mi 7 flagship smartphone. According to the leak, Xiaomi Mi 7 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 chipset and feature a Samsung-made 6.01-inch AMOLED display. In terms of the build, Mi 7 is tipped to feature a metal and glass design, similar to the Mi 6.
While there is no mention of the aspect ratio, it does seem fairly certain that the Mi 7 will at least feature much thinner bezels than the current Mi 6. However, seeing how the upcoming Redmi Note 5 will feature an 18:9 ‘bezel-less’ display, an 18:9 aspect ratio display is definitely likely. In the memory department, the Mi 7 is rumored to feature 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and for the higher end model it will be of 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage
After Apple introduced its Face ID facial recognition technology, some reports have suggested that Android OEMs such as Samsung, Vivo, Xiaomi and OnePlus are expected to come out with a similar facial recognition feature in their upcoming smartphones. Sadly, the latest leak claims the Mi 7 will not adopt the feature, as the technology behind it is still not fully mature.
In the camera department, Xiaomi Mi 7 is rumored to feature a dual-camera setup with a pair of 16-megapixel sensors. The 16MP sensors will apparently be paired with f/1.7 aperture lenses, which should allow the Mi 7 to deliver improved low-light performance when compared to the dual 12MP setup on the Mi 6. While there is no word yet on the battery capacity, the Mi 7 will include support for fast charging. The smartphone is expected to be launched at a starting price of 2,699 yuan in China for the 6GB model, which converts to roughly Rs 27000 and for the 8GB model, it will be priced at 2,999 yuan which converts to roughly 30000. As for the launch, you can expect the Mi 7 to be officially announced in the first quarter of 2018.
Whether or not this leak is accurate should become quite clear in the near future, as we expect more concrete leaks to start surfacing online by early next year.

Oneplus 5T - The new Android Beast!

The company which produces three flagships within the span of the  year, Oneplus has launched their new flagship device Oneplus 5T  which has the new trending 18:9 display . The device is of 6.01" and has an optic AMOLED panel of 2160p X 1080p resolution. The display is quite good and easily visible under harsh sunlight. Due to 18:9 display, there is no homebutton, and thus the fingerprint is moved to the back.

Hardware
The hardware is same as that of Oneplus 5. This device has Qualcomm's latest high end processor Snapdragon 835 which is clocked in 2.45 GHz and comes with LPDDR4X 6GB /8GB RAM along with 64GB and 128GB UFS 2.1 Based Storage and comes with 3300mAH battery with Dash Charge Support .

Software
It comes with Android Nougat and with Oneplus' own Oxygen OS.Oxygen OS present in this device is extremely snappy and feels like stock android with some extra useful customisations. The new thing is the Face Unlock which is extremely fast. Though it is not as secure as Face ID in iPhone X but you have back fingerprint too. So it should not be a problem

Camera
Its the main highlight of this device. It has a dual camera setup at the back with dual tone LED flash.. The primary lens is 16MP f1.7  (which uses Sony IMX 398 sensor)  which is same as Oneplus 5's primary lens but instead of the 20MP f2.6 telephoto lens (which used Sony IMX 350 sensor), it has a new lens of 20MP f1.7 (which uses Sony IMX 376K sensor). Oneplus did that to enhance lowlight performance. But absence of telephoto leans means no optical 2x zoom though digital zoom is there. Oneplus in their launch event of Oneplus 5t told about Intelligent Pixel Technology which merges 4 pixels into one for better lowlight performance. The front facing camera is same as that of Oneplus 5, 16MP f2.0 . Oneplus 5T has EIS support which stabilises video efficiently but it crops in the video.. Portait mode is also improved in this device . The absence of telephoto lens means no zoomed in portait mode.

Gaming
Oneplus 5T is buttery smooth phone which can easily run heavy games like Asphalt 8, Modern Combat X . Due to its light skin and heavy internal game runs smooth without any lag.
Battery life
It easily lasted with full day of use from moderate to heavy usage just like Oneplus 5 though it has a larger display and more pixels to push. So Kudos to Oneplus for optimising the battery life of this beast.

Disadvantages
1. No Wireless Charge Support
2. No IP rating for water and dust resistant
3. Comes with Android Nougat but should have come with Oreo (Oneplus announced Oreo coming in December)

Final Verdict
Its a great value for money smartphone. Not recommended to buy if you are an existing Oneplus 5 owner. But if you are planning to buy a new device then surely buy this android beast.
